Some of the most profound love stories are the ones that are never seen.
Memory Garden was created from my own experience of baby loss and the longing to find a space where every baby, no matter how briefly they were here, could be remembered with love.
After my own miscarriage, I discovered that grief doesn’t follow a timeline. It arrives quietly, unexpectedly, and often feels incredibly lonely. I wanted to create something I wish had existed when I needed it most. A gentle space where bereaved parents can step away from the outside world, be surrounded by people who understand, and create something meaningful in memory of their baby.
On Saturday 10th October at 2pm, we’ll gather at the beautiful Bramley Barn at Long Meadow Farm, nestled amongst the peaceful orchard. Together, we’ll spend an afternoon painting a personalised memorial plaque, sharing tea, cake and conversation, or simply sitting in quiet reflection if that’s what feels right. There is never any expectation to talk. You are welcome exactly as you are.
Whether your loss was weeks ago or many years ago, whether you experienced miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal loss, your baby matters here, and so does your story.
Every plaque is personalised in memory of your baby, creating a keepsake to take home and treasure forever.
Thanks to funding from the Take£500+ programme, this workshop is fully funded, meaning there is no cost to attend. To secure your place, a £1 booking fee is payable at the time of booking. This small fee helps ensure places are reserved for those who wish to attend, allowing me to offer this special day to as many bereaved parents as possible.
Memory Garden is a place to remember, to honour, and to know that you are not alone.
I’d be honoured to welcome you.
